Theme: Tribal Sovereignty and Outreach to Native Families

Native American tribal communities are sovereign, meaning tribal governments have authority over their communities including education. “This brief [from the Native American Technical Assistance Center (NAPTAC)] explores how Parent Centers might plan and conduct outreach to Native families within the reality of tribal sovereignty and the governing policies of individual tribal communities.”

 

Week 3 – August 19th, 2021

Theme: Reaching Out to American Indian and Alaska Native Youth with Disabilities

Consider asking to host a vendor booth at a local Pow Wow.
